The 17th edition of the Malta International Fireworks Festival will be taking place on three nights between Saturday 21st and Monday 30th of April 2018 across the Maltese Islands. Local and international Firework specialists congregate annually in Malta to show their best and to compete for this prestigious award.
In keeping with the Capital of Culture, this year’s theme is ‘Where Fire and Culture Meet’, to reflect the way cultural aspects will be incorporated with features that have never been seen before in this annual event.
The grand finale of the annual ‘Malta International Fireworks Festival’ will take place over the spectacular Valletta Harbour. This year’s event will be like no other pyrotechnic show our islands have experienced, offering a spectacular that pleases not just the eye, but also the ears, as a live orchestra will play to specially composed music in synchronization with the fireworks.
